It has it's ups and downs, identical to a roller coaster ride, just that a roller coaster is controlled by machines and you have to sit in it.You can't even decide where to go since it doesn't have a steering wheel. YAY! I've came back from OBS camp. It was FUN!! but somewhat tiring. My group was made up of girls from 3E4 and 3E5! So cool right? Had an enjoyable time with all of them and the instructor, Elton! haha. Gonna describe briefly 'bout what happen during the times we were there. DAY 1: Went to OBS and did some basic stuffs like learning what do we use when we want to do somethings. Learnt how to roll the tents, pitched the tents and more. After that, we packed the clothing and necessities into the backpack they have. It was very heavy. Had lunch there and the food they cooked was nice. Still edible. It's not like the food we had in Secondary2 camp. Then went to the campsite and pitched our tents there. First time pitch a tent. It was a piece of cake. But the dilemma was the mosquitoes and strange insects flying around, annoying me. So irksome. Then cooked ourselves dinner. Went to sleep.Somehow, I think its quite comfy. But, I woke up at around 0230 and sat up then as I thought that it was 'bout 5 in the morning. I was waiting for the sun to rise but I waited for so long and got so bored. Then, some of the boys woke up. Heard them saying that it was only 0250. Got so shocked. Then, went to the lavatories with them. Chatted near the medical room and some of them had supper. Climbed back up and un-pitch the tents. DAY 2: Ate breakfast and went for our high elements activity. I thought we're gonna do the rock wall. But in the end, had some un-fun things to climb. Then, practise on kayaking and kayak all the way to Campsite 2. It was 'bout 1745-1845 when we reached there. Pitched our tents and cooked our dinner. Lots of ants there = disgusting. Bathed after that and slept. It was very comfy but I think its too cold. Heard some eerie sounds like girls screaming and shouting. But I think its from the insects. DAY 3: Had PT inn the morning and prepared for tracking. I was the navigator.lols. Fun to be one. But I lead them the wrong way sometimes. But WE were the first group to arrive there! applause.. Said some racist jokes and had lunch. The second group came and we cheered for them. Built a raft after that and walk to the campsite. Pitched the tents again..and waited for the dinner to be cooked. I was quite annoying as I kept disturbing those who wanted to go to the lavatories. There was none there. The girls had to walk to the sea to pee. So embarrassing. While the boys just need to go among the bushes and pee. UNFAIRNESS! lols. Ate dinner and started to prepare to sleep. We had to patrol around the Campsite as there were wild boars around. We weren't sure what does it really sound like, so when we heard some funny noises, we'll go to those who are patrolling. Slept soundly, just that it was warm even though we were facing the sea. DAY 4: Ate some bread for breakfast and prepared for kayaking. We kayak for six hours straight. Asked some of the boys to change with us but they're like reaching soon reaching soon. So helpful huh? Got so tired and bathed! And note this: We didn;t bath since Day 2 after we reached campsite 2. Felt so clean after that. Dinner and went to pitch our tents in the dark. Was the first to finish pitching. And felt so warm after that. Went to sleep and it was so cold. Day 5: Got to go home!! YAY! I miss my bed so much. Cleaned the room and ate lunch, bought the sovenirs. Nice shirts they have. Went home and bathed, washed my clothes and went to bed. I'm gonna sleep now. Its like almost 0200. So tiring. I think I wouldn't wake up till around 1100-1300 in the noon tomorrow. Nights. :))) Saturday, February 21, 2009
